Belize Weather: Rain hits forecast

By Breaking Belize News Staff: According to the National Meteorological Service, a relatively moist east-northeasterly airflow will continue to prevail. Over the next 24 hours, expect cloudy skies at times today and tonight. A few showers and periods of rain, along with the chance of isolated thunderstorms are likely to occur over most areas, but especially over the north and south this morning, inland areas this afternoon, and over the south again tonight.

The average high temperatures forecast for today are 84 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 86 degrees in inland areas, and 76 degrees in the hills. Tonight’s low temperatures will be 76 degrees along the coast, 72 degrees inland, and 67 degrees in the hills.
Winds are easterly to northeasterly at ten to 20 knots, and wave action is choppy to moderate.

Tides were low at 6:39 this morning. Tides will be high at 12:48 this afternoon and 11:52 tonight, and low again at 5:42 this evening. The sun rose at 6:19 this morning and sets at 5:24 this evening.

A few showers, periods of rain, and isolated thunderstorms are likely to continue affecting mostly southern districts on Wednesday, then most areas on Wednesday night.
