Belize Weather: Moving back toward fair weather

By Breaking Belize News Staff: Conditions will become less moist today per the National Meteorological Service.

The 24-hour forecast calls for cloudy skies at times today, with a few showers mainly over the north and also some inland areas this afternoon. Showers will decrease tonight and become isolated.

High temperatures peak at 80 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 84 degrees inland and 72 degrees in the hills. Low temperatures tonight will be 74 degrees along the coast, 68 degrees inland and 63 degrees in the hills.

Winds are from the northeast at five to 15 knots and sea state is choppy. A small craft caution is in effect for locally rough seas in large northeast swells.

Tides are low as of 6:35 this morning. The next high tide is at 12:33 this afternoon, followed by a low tide at 6:32 this evening. The sun rose at 6:26 this morning and will set at 5:42 this evening.

Friday’s weather will be mainly fair, with only isolated showers developing.
