By Breaking Belize News Staff: According to the National Meteorological Service, relatively moist and somewhat unstable conditions prevail. Over the next 24 hours, skies will be sunny with cloudy spells today and cloudy at times tonight. A few showers or light rain with a low chance of an isolated thunderstorm will likely occur mainly offshore and some coastal areas this morning. Activity will gradually move mostly over inland areas by this afternoon, then redevelop mainly along coastal and offshore areas tonight.
Average high temperatures forecast today will be 84 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 86 degrees in inland areas, and 77 degrees in the hills. Tonight’s low temperatures will be 74 degrees along the coast, 70 degrees inland, and 65 degrees in the hills.
Winds are northerly to northeasterly at five to 10 knots, and seas run at slight to light chop.
Tides will be low at 9:42 this morning and 9:55 this evening and high at 3:49 this afternoon. The sun rose at 6:12 this morning and sets at 5:19 this evening.
The extended outlook for Friday: skies will be cloudy at times. A few showers and isolated thunderstorms will likely occur mainly along coastal and over northern areas Friday morning, then around the country but more so over inland areas Friday afternoon. On Friday night, shower activity will be isolated with a medium chance for a few more mainly along the coast.
