By Breaking Belize News Staff: According to the National Meteorological Service, mild and relatively moist conditions are expected to prevail. Over the next 24 hours, skies will be cloudy with sunny breaks today. A few showers or periods of rain will continue to affect mostly southern coastal areas this morning, then most areas by this afternoon. Partly cloudy becoming cloudy tonight with a few showers or isolated thunderstorms mainly north and along the coast.
The average high temperatures forecast for today are 83 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 84 degrees in inland areas, and 77 degrees in the hills. Tonight’s low temperatures will be 75 degrees along the coast, 70 degrees inland, and 66 degrees in the hills.
Winds are easterly at five to ten knots, and wave action is slight.
Tides will be high at 10:19 this morning and 9:13 this evening. They will be low at 3:06 this afternoon. The sun rose at 6:17 this morning and sets at 5:22 this evening.
A few showers or isolated thunderstorms are likely to continue affecting mostly northern areas Saturday, then mainly the south on Saturday night, with isolated showers expected elsewhere.
