Belize Weather: Midweek cooldown

By Breaking Belize News Staff: According to the National Meteorological Service, skies will be mostly cloudy with a few showers, periods of rain and isolated thunderstorms to linger mostly offshore this morning. By afternoon, activity will spread around the country, and then move to mostly over the south and coast by tonight. A stationary front to the east is influencing our weather.

High temperatures today are forecasted at 81 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 84 degrees in inland areas and 72 degrees in the hills, with lows tonight around 70 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; 68 degrees in inland areas, and 63 degrees in the hills.

Winds are from the north to northeast at ten to 20 knots, resulting in choppy to moderate seas.

Tides will be high at 9:36 this morning and 10:03 this evening and low at 3:52 this afternoon. The sun rose at 5:58 this morning and will set at 6:03 this evening.

The weather outlook for Thursday and Thursday night: generally cloudy skies with a few showers or periods of rain and isolated thunderstorms mostly over the south and offshore, gradually decreasing.
