Belize Weather: Mainly fair today, some showers on Sunday

By Breaking Belize News Staff: Mainly fair conditions prevail today according to the National Meteorological Service. Skies today will be sunny with a few cloudy spells and tonight partly cloudy with showers generally isolated.

High temperatures peak at 86 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 90 degrees in inland areas and 77 degrees in the hills. Tonight’s low temperatures will be 79 degrees along the coast, 72 degrees inland and 65 degrees in the hills.

Winds will be easterly to southeasterly at 10 to 20 knots and sea state is moderate.

Tides will be high at 11:31 this morning and 11:04 tonight and low at 5:01 this evening. The sun sets at a quarter to six this evening and rises at 6:25 Sunday morning.

Sunday starts with mainly fair weather and showers generally isolated. Then, a few showers and isolated thunderstorms will affect mainly northern districts on Sunday afternoon, spreading to most areas early on Sunday night, then decreasing later to affect mainly southern coastal areas.
