Belize Weather: Holiday weekend continues fair and mostly dry

By Breaking Belize News Staff: According to the National Meteorological Service, generally fair weather conditions are prevailing across the region, with little significant disturbance expected.

Expect sunny skies today with occasional cloudy periods. Tonight will be clear to partly cloudy. Showers or thunderstorms are possible but will remain isolated.

High temperatures peak at 89 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; 92 degrees in inland areas; and 79 degrees in the hills. Tonight, temperatures fall to 74 degrees along the coast, 70 degrees inland and 65 degrees in the hills.

Winds will be light and variable and sea state slight with waves of one to three feet.

Tides will be low at 8:44 this morning and 7:17 this evening and high at 3:05 this afternoon. The sun rose at 5:45 this morning and will set at 5:32 this evening.

Generally fair weather will continue on Monday and Monday night, with only isolated showers or thunderstorms expected.
