By Breaking Belize News Staff: The National Meteorological Service forecasts continuing fair weather, warm temperatures and mostly dry conditions. Skies will be mostly sunny today and clear to partly cloudy tonight with little to no rainfall expected.
High temperatures peak at 90 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 97 degrees over inland areas and 84 degrees in the hills. Tonight’s low temperatures will be 82 degrees along the coast, 74 degrees inland and 68 degrees in the hills. A heat alert is in effect, as temperatures inland are expected to reach and exceed 97 degrees Fahrenheit. Residents, especially those inland, are advised to stay hydrated and avoid outdoor activity as much as possible, especially during the afternoon hours.
Winds will be easterly at 10 to 15 knots and seas light chop.
Tides will be low at 9:05 this morning and 11:11 tonight and high at 3:19 this afternoon. The sun sets at 6:13 this evening and rises at 5:26 Thursday morning.
Fair weather, warm temperatures and mostly dry conditions continue through at least Thursday.
