Belize Weather: Fair weather starts the week but cooler conditions coming

By Breaking Belize News Staff: The National Meteorological Service weather forecast indicates generally fair conditions, but a approaching cold front is expected to bring changes. Today will feature mostly sunny skies, with partly cloudy conditions expected tonight. Minimal rainfall is forecasted, though isolated thunderstorms may develop over inland areas during the afternoon or evening.

Temperatures along the coast will range from 80 to 87 degrees Fahrenheit, inland areas will see highs around 94 degrees Fahrenheit with lows near 70 degrees Fahrenheit tonight , and in the hills the temperature high will be 84 degrees Fahrenheit and low of 65 degrees Fahrenheit.

Marine conditions include east-southeast winds at 10-15 knots, choppy seas with waves of 3-5 feet.

Tides today will see a high at 8:45 AM, a low at 2:21 PM, and another high at 8:32 PM. Sunrise occured at 5:59 AM and sunset at 6:02 PM.

The outlook for Tuesday suggests cloudy skies at times, with potential showers and thunderstorms as the cold front approaches.
