Belize Weather: Fair weather returns

By Breaking Belize News Staff: The National Meteorological Service forecasts that over the next 24 hours, skies will be sunny today with a few cloudy intervals. Tonight, skies will be partly cloudy. A few light showers will develop mainly along coastal areas during the daytime, thereafter showers will be isolated.

Average high temperatures forecast today will be 85 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; 89 degrees in inland areas; and 74 degrees in the hills. Tonight’s low temperatures will be 79 degrees along the coast, 68 degrees inland and 65 degrees in the hills.

Winds will be easterly to northeasterly at five to 15 knots, and sea state is light chop.

Tides will be low at 7:50 this morning and 9:29 this evening and high at 1:54 this afternoon.

The sun sets at 5:54 this evening and rises at 6:19 Friday morning.

The outlook for Friday and Friday night is for fair weather to prevail and showers will be isolated.
