Belize Weather: Fair weather prevailing but some showers in forecast

By Breaking Belize News Staff: According to the National Meteorological Service, a mild and relatively moist airflow continues over the area. Over the next 24 hours, skies will be sunny with cloudy intervals. Tonight, skies will be partly cloudy to cloudy. Showers will be isolated at first, then expect a few outbreaks of showers and isolated thunderstorms to develop along the coast at first, then move to inland areas by afternoon. Tonight and tomorrow morning, a few showers and isolated thunderstorms will develop mainly along the coast and over the south.

The average high temperatures forecast for today are 83 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 84 degrees in inland areas, and 74 degrees in the hills. Tonight’s low temperatures will be 74 degrees along the coast, 68 degrees inland, and 63 degrees in the hills.
Winds are easterly at five to 15 knots, and seas run at light chop.

Tides will be high at 9:44 this morning and 8:35 this evening. They will be low at 2:31 this afternoon. The sun rose at 6:16 this morning and sets at 5:21 this evening

On Friday, there will be cloudy spells with a few showers or isolated thunderstorms to develop mainly along coastal areas.
