By Breaking Belize News Staff: The National Meteorological Service forecasts mostly sunny skies and warm temperatures today and clear to partly cloudy skies tonight. Except for a low chance of an isolated thunderstorm over the Maya Mountains this afternoon, little or no rain fall is expected as fair, dry and windy conditions prevail.
High temperatures this afternoon peak at 86 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 93 degrees in inland areas and 83 degrees in the hills. Low temperatures tonight will be 77 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 72 degrees inland and 65 degrees in the hills.
Winds will be easterly to southeasterly at ten to 20 knots and seas moderate to rough. Due to occasionally gusty winds and locally rough seas, operators of small crafts should exercise caution.
Tideswill be high at 12:18 this afternoon and low at 7:19 this evening. The sun rose at 6:16 this morning and will set at 5:56 this evening.
Expect change in the weather on Sunday as skies will be cloudy at times with isolated showers at first, then a few could develop mostly inland and over southern areas Sunday afternoon with a low chance for an isolated thunderstorm. On Sunday night, a few showers and isolated thunderstorms are possible, mostly over northern areas as a cold front approaches.
