By Breaking Belize News Staff: According to the National Meteorological Service, skies will be sunny today with a few cloudy spells. Tonight skies will be partly cloudy. Only light isolated showers can be expected. Generally fair and mostly dry conditions will continue over our area for the next 24 to 36 hours.
High temperatures today are forecasted at 85 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 88 degrees in inland areas and 76 degrees in the hills, with lows tonight around 76 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; 64 degrees in inland areas, and 59 degrees in the hills.
Winds are from the east to northeast at ten to 15 knots, resulting in choppy seas.
Tides are low as of 7:06 this morning. A high tide occurs at 1:20 this afternoon, followed by a low tide at 9:25 this evening. The sun rose at 5:53 this morning and will set at 6:04 this evening.
The weather outlook for Wednesday: an increase in cloudiness, along with a few showers and isolated thunderstorms to develop mainly along the coast and offshore.
