Belize Weather: Fair and windy conditions continue into weekend

By Breaking Belize News Staff: A mostly dry and somewhat gusty airflow prevails. Over the next 24 hours, according to the National Meteorological Service, skies will be sunny with a few cloudy spells today and partly cloudy tonight. little or no rain is expected.

Average high temperatures forecast today will be 88 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 94 degrees in inland areas, and 81 degrees in the hills. Tonight’s low temperatures will be 81 degrees along the coast, 72 degrees inland, and 66 degrees in the hills.

Winds will be easterly at ten to 20 knots with higher gusts, and sea state moderate to rough. A small craft caution is in effect for strong gusty winds and rough seas.

Tides are low as of 7:49 this morning. A high tide follows at 2:09 this afternoon and a low at 10:25 this evening.

The sun sets at 6:03 this evening and rises 5:59 a.m. Sunday morning.

On Sunday there will be mainly fair, warm and dry weather.
