Belize Weather: Fair and warm weather continues into weekend

By Breaking Belize News Staff: Over the next 24 hours, according to the National Meteorological Service, skies will be sunny and temperatures warm today. Tonight skies will be partly cloudy. Little or no rainfall is expected.

Average high temperatures forecast today will be 91 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 101 degrees in inland areas, and 84 degrees in the hills. Tonight’s low temperatures will be 83 degrees along the coast, 77 degrees inland, and 72 degrees in the hills. A heat alert is in effect as temperatures inland are expected to reach and exceed 97 degrees Fahrenheit. Residents, especially those inland, are advised to stay hydrated and avoid outdoor activity as much as possible, especially during the afternoon hours.

Winds are easterly to southeasterly at ten to 20 knots, and seas moderate.

Tides will be high at 10:50 this morning and low at 6:33 this evening.

The sun sets at 6:16 this evening and rises at 5:22 Saturday morning.

The outlook for Saturday is for similar conditions to prevail.
