Belize Weather: Fair and warm weather continues

By Breaking Belize News Staff: Over the next 24 hours, according to the National Meteorological Service, skies will be mostly sunny today. Tonight skies will be clear to partly cloudy. Little or no rainfall is expected.

Average high temperatures forecast today will be 88 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 97 degrees in inland areas, and 82 degrees in the hills. Tonight’s low temperatures will be 81 degrees along the coast, 72 degrees inland, and 68 degrees in the hills. A heat alert is in effect as temperatures inland are expected to reach and exceed 97 degrees Fahrenheit. Residents, especially those inland, are advised to stay hydrated and avoid outdoor activity as much as possible, especially during the afternoon hours.

Winds are easterly to southeasterly at five to 15 knots, and seas slight to light chop.

Tides will be low at 10:44 this morning and high at 4:52 this evening.

The sun sets at 6:13 this evening and rises at 5:25 Friday morning.

The outlook for Friday is for similar conditions to prevail.
