Belize Weather: Easter week starts cloudy and rainy

By Breaking Belize News Staff: The National Meteorological Service forecasts cloudy skies with a few showers, periods of rain and isolated thunderstorms countrywide in the daytime today then mostly over the south tonight, as moist and unstable conditions open Easter week.

High temperatures peak today at 82 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 86 degrees in inland areas and 70 degrees in the hills. Tonight’s low temperatures will be 72 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 68 degrees inland and 62 degrees in the hills.

Winds will be easterly to northeasterly at five to 15 knots resulting in choppy seas.

Tides are high as of 8:36 this morning. A low tide occurs at 2:32 this afternoon, followed by a high tide at 8:47 this evening. The sun rose at 5:48 this morning and will set at 6:05 this evening.

Tuesday’s outlook is for cloudy skies at times with a few showers or possibly isolated thunderstorms over the south but isolated activity elsewhere.
