Belize Weather: Cooling things down

By Breaking Belize News Staff: The National Meteorological Service forecasts that over the next 24 hours, skies will be cloudy at times today with only isolated showers mainly offshore; then a few showers will affect coastal areas late tonight.

Average high temperatures forecast today will be 81 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; 85 degrees in inland areas; and 72 degrees in the hills. Tonight’s low temperatures will be 75 degrees along the coast, 70 degrees inland and 64 degrees in the hills.

Winds will be northerly to northwesterly at 10 to 20 knots, and sea state is moderate.

Tides are low as of 6:38 this morning. A high tide follows at 12:31 this afternoon and a low tide at 7:10 this evening.

The sun sets at 5:53 this evening and rises at 6:20 Wednesday morning.

The outlook for Wednesday: cloudy skies with a few showers over most areas Wednesday morning, with showers becoming isolated Wednesday afternoon; then a few showers affect mainly southern districts Wednesday night.
