Belize Weather: Cooler than the other side of the pillow

By Breaking Belize News Staff: According to the National Meteorological Service, cool and mostly dry conditions prevail behind the passage of a cold front.

The 24-hour forecast calls for skies to be variably cloudy with cool conditions. Little to no rain is expected over the country.

High temperatures today are forecasted at 77 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; 76 degrees Fahrenheit in inland areas; and 68 degrees in the hills, with lows tonight around 75 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; 71 degrees in inland areas; and 61 degrees in the hills.

Winds are from the north to northeast at ten to 20 knots, resulting in moderate seas.

Tides will be high at 9:29 a.m. and 8:22 p.m. and low at 2:04 this afternoon. The sun rose at 6:26 this morning and will set at 5:38 this evening.

On Saturday and Saturday night, skies will be cloudy at times with mild conditions. A few showers will likely affect mostly central and northern areas on Saturday, then mainly over offshore and some coastal areas Saturday night.
