By Breaking Belize News Staff: According to the National Meteorological Service, a relatively dry north to northwesterly airflow supports mild and generally fair conditions.
The 24-hour forecast calls for sunny skies with a few cloudy spells today and cloudy skies at times tonight. Showers will be isolated, with a medium chance for a few more occurring mostly over some northern and southern areas tonight.
High temperatures today are forecasted at 80 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; 84 degrees Fahrenheit in inland areas, and 74 degrees in the hills, with lows tonight around 70 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; 67 degrees in inland areas, and 61 degrees in the hills.
Winds are from the north to northwest at five to 15 knots, resulting in choppy seas.
Tides were high at 6 a.m. The next tide will be low at 10:44 a.m., then high at 4:55 p.m. The sun rose at 6:25 this morning and will set at 5:36 this evening.
On Tuesday, the forecast calls for cloudy skies at times. Showers will be isolated, with a few more expected mostly over offshore and some coastal areas Tuesday night.
