By Breaking Belize News Staff: According to the National Meteorological Service, cool, windy and mostly dry conditions prevail.
The 24-hour forecast: skies will be variably cloudy. Little or no rain is expected, with a low chance for light rain mostly over southern offshore areas.
High temperatures today are forecasted at 77 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; 78 degrees inland, but 68 degrees in the hills, with lows tonight around 68 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; 63 degrees in inland areas, and 59 degrees in the hills.
Winds are from the north to northeast at ten to 20 knots with higher gusts, resulting in moderate to rough seas. A small craft caution is in effect. Operators of small crafts are advised to monitor the situation and exercise caution due to occasionally gusty winds and locally rough seas in northerly to northeasterly swells.
Tides will be high at 11:32 a.m. and 11:02 p.m. and low at 4:53 this afternoon. The sun rose at 6:26 this morning and will set at 5:41 this evening.
The outlook for Wednesday and Wednesday night: skies will become mostly cloudy. A few showers, periods of rain and possible isolated will likely occur offshore at first, then activity will gradually move and affect mainly northern and coastal areas Wednesday afternoon into Wednesday night.
