Belize Weather: Cool weather continues

By Breaking Belize News Staff: Cool and relatively dry weather prevails according to the National Meteorological Service. Skies today will be mostly cloudy and temperatures cool; little to no rainfall is expected except for some light rain and a few showers mostly offshore.

High temperatures today peak at 77 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; 78 degrees inland and 68 degrees in the hills. Tonight, temperatures fall to 67 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; 63 degrees in inland areas and 58 degrees in the hills.

Winds are northerly at 10 to 20 knots with higher gusts; sea conditions are rough. A small craft warning is in effect for gusty winds and rough seas, especially in north to northeast swells beyond the reef. Operators of small crafts should remain in safe harbour.

Tides will be high at 7:12 this morning and 5:35 this evening and low at 11:03 this morning. The sun rose at 6:25 this morning and will set at a quarter to six this evening.

Fair, cool and mostly dry conditions with little to no rainfall is forecast for Thursday.
