Belize Weather: Cool it now

By Breaking Belize News Staff: According to the National Meteorological Service, a cold front is supporting cool and windy conditions across the country.

The 24-hour forecast: variably cloudy skies, cool and windy. Little to no rain is expected, except for a few light showers to develop mostly offshore and along the south coast.

High temperatures today are forecasted at 78 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; 79 degrees inland, but 68 degrees in the hills, with lows tonight around 66 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; 60 degrees in inland areas, and 57 degrees in the hills.

Winds are from the north to northeast at 15 to 25 knots, resulting in rough seas. A small craft warning is in effect for occasionally gusty winds and locally rough seas in northerly swells. Operators of small crafts should remain in safe harbour.

Tides will be low at 9:56 this morning and high at 4:18 this afternoon. The sun rose at 6:25 this morning and will set at 5:45 this evening.

Wednesday sees cool, windy and mostly dry conditions to prevail.
