By Breaking Belize News Staff: According to the National Meteorological Service, a relatively moist northeasterly airflow prevails.
The 24-hour forecast calls for sunny skies with some cloudy spells today and cloudy skies at times tonight. Showers will be isolated with a few more possible over some northern and inland areas this afternoon, and offshore tonight.
High temperatures today are forecasted at 81 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; 84 degrees Fahrenheit in inland areas, and 72 degrees in the hills, with lows tonight around 71 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; 67 degrees in inland areas, and 61 degrees in the hills.
Winds are from the north to northeast at five to 15 knots, resulting in choppy seas.
Tides were high at 7:22 a.m. The next tide will be low at 11:37 a.m., then high at 5:52 p.m. The sun rose at 6:25 this morning and will set at 5:37 this evening.
On Wednesday and Wednesday night, it is forecast to be cloudy at times with a few showers or light rain lingering mostly over some coastal areas and offshore.
