Belize Weather: Continued sun and heat

By Breaking Belize News Staff: A fresh and mostly dry airflow prevails, supporting mostly sunny skies and warm temperatures today according to the National Meteorological Service. Tonight, skies will be clear to partly cloudy. Showers, if any, will be isolated.

High temperatures today will reach 90 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 99 degrees inland and 84 degrees in the hills. Tonight’s low temperatures will be 82 degrees along the coast, 72 degrees inland and 67 degrees in the hills. A heat alert is in effect and residents of inland areas are encouraged to stay hydrated and avoid outdoor activity in the afternoon.

Winds will be easterly at 10 to 15 knots and sea state light chop.

Tides are high as of 7:36 this morning. A low tide follows at 2:18 this afternoon and a high tide at 8:33 this evening. The sun sets at 6:14 this evening and rises at 5:24 Monday morning.

Monday sees continued fair weather, warm temperatures and dry conditions.
