Belize Weather: Cold front closes out 2025 after some last showers

By Breaking Belize News Staff: According to the National Meteorological Service, moist and unstable conditions will prevail for the next 24 hours; then a drier and cooler airmass will set in as a cold front approaches and crosses the country. Over the next 24 hours, skies will be cloudy with a few sunny breaks. Tonight, skies will be cloudy at times. A few outbreaks of showers and thunderstorms will continue to develop mainly offshore and along coastal areas this morning, then spread to inland areas by afternoon and evening. Tonight, a few showers and periods of rain will develop along the coast and offshore, decreasing by morning.

The average high temperatures forecast for today are 80 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 81 degrees in inland areas, and 70 degrees in the hills. Tonight’s low temperatures will be 68 degrees along the coast, 64 degrees inland, and 60 degrees in the hills.
Winds are northerly to northwesterly at five to 15 knots, and wave action is light chop.

Tides will be high at 7:06 this morning and 5:56 this evening, and low at a quarter to twelve this morning. The sun rose at 6:22 this morning and sets at 5:28 this evening.

On Wednesday and Wednesday night, cool, windy, and mostly drier conditions to prevail; showers, if any, will be light and develop offshore.
