Belize Weather: Cold front closes out 2025

By Breaking Belize News Staff: According to the National Meteorological Service, a cold front crossed the country earlier this morning and will support mostly dry, cool, and windy conditions. Over the next 24 hours, skies will be variably cloudy today and tonight with cool and windy conditions. A few showers or periods of rain will occur mostly offshore at first, decreasing during this morning. elsewhere, little to no rain is expected.

The average high temperatures forecast for today across the country is 78 degrees Fahrenheit, while it will be 70 degrees in the hills. Tonight’s low temperatures will be 67 degrees along the coast, 61 degrees inland, and 56 degrees in the hills.

Winds are northerly to northwesterly at 10 to 20 knots with higher gusts, and wave action is moderate to rough. A small craft caution is in effect for occasionally gusty winds and locally rough seas; operators of small crafts are advised to monitor the situation and exercise caution.

Tides will be high at 8:14 this morning and 6:49 this evening, and low at 12:38 this afternoon. The sun rose at 6:22 this morning and sets at 5:28 this evening.

On Thursday and Thursday night, expect fair, cool and dry conditions. Little or no rainfall is expected..
