Belize Weather: Clouds and rain dim Sunday

By Breaking Belize News Staff: According to the National Meteorological Service, a moist and somewhat unstable airflow continues to linger over the country. Over the next 24 hours, it will be cloudy skies today with sunny breaks. Tonight, the skies will be cloudy. A few showers and isolated thunderstorms will develop offshore and along coastal areas at first, then gradually spread to most areas.

Average high temperatures forecast today will be 83 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 86 degrees in inland areas, and 75 degrees in the hills. Tonight’s low temperatures will be 74 degrees along the coast, 71 degrees inland, and 64 degrees in the hills.

Winds are northerly at five to 15 knots, and seas run choppy.

Tides were high at 6:31 this morning. They will be low at 11:57 this morning and high again at 6:04 this evening. The sun rose at 6:14 this morning and sets at 5:20 this evening

On Monday, skies will be cloudy to overcast with some outbreaks of showers, a few thunderstorms, and periods of rain to develop over most areas, but more so along the coast and offshore.
