Belize Weather: Changeable weather opens Christmas week

By Breaking Belize News Staff: According to the National Meteorological Service, a relatively moist and somewhat unstable northeasterly airflow prevails. Over the next 24 hours, expect sunny skies today with cloudy intervals. Tonight, skies will be cloudy at times. a few outbreaks of showers and isolated thunderstorms will develop, mainly along coastal and northern areas.

The average high temperatures forecast for today are 84 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 87 degrees in inland areas, and 76 degrees in the hills. Tonight’s low temperatures will be 76 degrees along the coast, 72 degrees inland, and 64 degrees in the hills.
Winds are easterly to northeasterly at ten to 15 knots, and wave action is choppy.

Tides were low at 6:03 this morning. Tides will be high at 12:08 this afternoon and 11:10 tonight, and low again at 4:57 this afternoon. The sun rises at 6:18 this morning and sets at 5:23 this evening.

Similar weather conditions can be expected on Tuesday.
