Belize Weather: Change sweeps through with weak cold front this evening after sunny day

By Breaking Belize News Staff: The National Meteorological Service forecasts mostly sunny skies today with little or no rainfall; tonight, skies will be cloudy at times with a few showers and isolated thunderstorms mostly affecting northern and coastal areas.

High temperatures peak at 88 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 95 degrees inland and 86 degrees in the hills. Tonight temperatures fall to 76 degrees along the coast, 72 degrees inland and 66 degrees in the hills.

Winds start light and variable, becoming easterly to northeasterly at five to ten knots. Sea state will be choppy.

Tides will be high at five minutes to noon this morning and low at ten minutes after six this evening. The sun sets at 5:53 this evening and rises at 6:21 Tuesday morning.

For Tuesday, skies will be mostly cloudy. A few showers or light rain will mostly offshore in the daytime and coastal areas at night.
