Belize Weather: Baby, it’s cold outside

By Breaking Belize News Staff: According to the National Meteorological Service, cold temperatures and windy and dry conditions prevail over the country.

The 24-hour forecast: skies will be variably cloudy with cold, windy and dry conditions. Little or no rain is expected.

High temperatures today are forecasted at 72 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; 74 degrees inland, and 63 degrees in the hills, with lows tonight around 58 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; 50 degrees in inland areas, and 46 degrees in the hills.

Winds are from the north to northwest at 15 to 25 knots, resulting in rough seas. A small craft warning is in effect for strong winds and rough seas, especially in north to northeast swells beyond the reef. Operators of small crafts should remain in safe harbour.

Tides will be high at 10:16 this morning and 9:44 this evening, and low at 3:19 this afternoon. The sun rose at 6:24 this morning and will set at 5:48 this evening.

Monday sees continued very cold temperatures and mostly dry conditions. Little to no rainfall is expected; except for a medium chance of a few showers affecting mainly coastal areas Monday night.
