Belize Weather: A cold front overtakes the weekend

By Breaking Belize News Staff: According to the National Meteorological Service, a cold front is influencing our weather.

The 24-hour forecast: variably cloudy skies with little or no rain today and tonight.

High temperatures today are forecasted at 74 degrees Fahrenheit for most of the country, and 68 degrees in the hills, with lows tonight around 64 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; 55 degrees in inland areas, and 52 degrees in the hills.

Winds are from the north to northwest at ten to 20 knots, resulting in moderate to rough seas. A small craft caution is in effect for locally rough seas, especially in northerly swells. Operators of small crafts should exercise caution.

Tides will be low at 7:04 this morning and 7:46 this evening, and high at 12:52 this afternoon. The sun rose at 6:23 this morning and will set at 5:50 this evening.

Similar weather conditions are expected for Saturday and Saturday night.
