By Breaking Belize News Staff (HP): Belizeans can look forward to another day of generally pleasant weather as moderate easterly winds continue to support fair conditions across the country.

According to the National Meteorological Service, sunny skies and a few cloudy intervals will dominate the forecast today, providing ideal conditions for outdoor activities, travel and business operations across most districts.

Temperatures are expected to remain hot, particularly inland where highs could reach 95 degrees Fahrenheit. Coastal communities can expect temperatures around 89 degrees, while the hills will remain slightly cooler at 82 degrees.

While much of the country will remain dry, forecasters say isolated showers and thunderstorms are still possible. The greatest chance for rainfall will be over southern Belize late tonight and into the early morning hours.

At sea, conditions remain moderate with east to southeast winds blowing between 10 and 20 knots and wave heights ranging from four to six feet.

The good news for Belizeans is that tropical cyclone development is not expected anywhere in the region during the next 48 hours.

For now, sunshine remains the dominant feature of the forecast, making it another typical June day across Belize.
