By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The Belize Volleyball Association (BVA) has officially announced the national team that will represent the country at the upcoming 2025 U-23 Women’s Central American Volleyball Championship, set to take place from July 20 to 24 at the Belize City Civic Center.
The regional tournament will bring together the top under-23 women’s volleyball teams from across Central America, with the BVA hosting the event. The BVA has expressed confidence in the young athletes selected to wear the national colours, emphasizing both their skill and their potential to make a strong showing on home soil.
Team Belize Unveiled
The national squad features a dynamic mix of emerging talent and experienced coaching. The team will be led by Head Coach Jose Fontes, with support from Assistant Coach Nelissa Ramirez.
Here’s the full roster that will represent Belize in the five-day tournament.

As the countdown begins, all eyes are on Team Belize. With talent, heart, and home advantage, the squad is poised to make a memorable run in front of their fellow Belizeans.
