By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The Belize U-23 Men’s National Volleyball Team their campaign at the 2025 Pan American Cup this afternoon, Tuesday 29 July, with a crucial Group B match against Mexico at 2:00 pm at the Domo Polideportivo in Guatemala City.
Led by captain Kaelen Ingram and co-captain Eleazar Mejia, this youthful squad combines experience and energy, featuring standouts like Krish Thadhani, Orion Butler, and Brayden Richardson.
Grouped with Mexico, the Dominican Republic and the United States, Belize face an intense round of fixtures over three consecutive days. The outcome of today’s match may prove decisive for progression to the knockout rounds, set to begin on Friday 1 August.
Backed by the Belize Volleyball Association, these young athletes stand as the result of years of commitment from coaches, volunteers and families across the country. Their presence at the Pan American Cup highlights a growing confidence in Belize’s sporting development and international ambitions. A win today could set the tone for a breakthrough tournament.
