By Zoila Palma: The Belize Tourism Board (BTB) has officially launched the call for nominations for the highly anticipated National Tourism Awards 2025, an annual celebration that recognizes excellence and innovation within the country’s tourism sector.
The awards honor individuals and organizations whose contributions continue to strengthen Belize’s reputation as a world-class travel destination.
This year’s categories include Hotel of the Year, Small Accommodation of the Year, Tour Operator of the Year, Tour Guide of the Year, Frontline Person of the Year, Restaurant of the Year, Green Champion of the Year, Cultural Experience of the Year, Site of the Year, and Health & Wellness Provider of the Year.

Nominations close on September 13, 2025, after which finalists will be selected and honored at the National Tourism Awards ceremony.
The event promises to showcase the very best of Belize’s tourism industry while celebrating the people and businesses driving its success.
