By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: On December 14, 2023, the Belize Tourism Board (BTB) in collaboration with JetBlue, hosted 30 travel advisors representing Virtuoso, the Travel Leaders Network and media representatives for AFAR Media, Telemundo 47 and CBS, for a lunch presentation in New York.
After the coffee networking session, attendees had the opportunity to discover the unique offerings, services, and experiences Belize has to offer as well as gain insights into JetBlue’s values, company information, services, and the non-stop flight from JFK to BZE.
The participants also enjoyed dancing to the Garifuna drums and singing during the cultural activation presented by the GAMAE International Inc.
Vacation packages and roundtrip tickets were raffled after lunch, and goodie bags with Belizean treats were gifted to all who participated before they left for the day.
