By Breaking Belize News Staff (HP): Belizeans can look forward to a bright and pleasant day, as mainly fair and warm weather settles in across the country.
According to the National Meteorological Service, it will be mostly sunny today and partly cloudy tonight. Any showers or thunderstorms will be isolated, so the rain should stay out of the way for most.
Temperatures along the coast will reach a high of 88 degrees Fahrenheit (31 Celsius) and a low of 82 (28 Celsius). Inland areas will be hotter, climbing to 93 degrees Fahrenheit (34 Celsius) and dropping to 75 (24 Celsius). In the hills, expect a high of 82 degrees Fahrenheit (28 Celsius) and a cooler low of 68 (20 Celsius).
Out at sea, conditions will be less inviting. Winds will blow from the east at 10 to 20 knots and be gusty, with moderate to rough seas and waves of 5 to 7 feet. A small craft caution is in effect, with gusty winds and occasionally rough seas. Operators of small crafts are urged to exercise caution.
On the tropical front, there is good news. No tropical cyclone formation is expected over the region during the next 48 hours.
Looking ahead to Sunday and Sunday night, the mainly fair and warm weather will continue, with only isolated showers or thunderstorms developing.
