By Zoila Palma: The Belize Tourism Board has announced that celebrations for World Tourism Day 2025 will take place this Saturday, September 27, at Battlefield Park in Belize City.
The event will highlight the theme of “Tourism and Sustainable Transformation,” bringing the community together for an afternoon of entertainment and cultural pride.
The celebration runs from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and will feature a live DJ, family-friendly activities, prizes, giveaways, and special staycation opportunities.
The BTB says the event aims to showcase the importance of tourism to Belize’s economy while also promoting sustainability within the industry.
