By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The Belize Tennis Association (BTA), in collaboration with the International Tennis Federation (ITF), is inviting aspiring coaches and tennis enthusiasts to take their first step toward coaching success with a FREE National Play Tennis Course, scheduled for February 12–15, 2026.
The Belize Olympic and commonwealth Games Association said the four‑day program is designed to give participants a strong foundation in coaching and will cover:
- Coaching fundamentals
- Drills and techniques
- Player development
- Rules and safety
The course is ideal for players looking to transition into coaching, teachers who want to add tennis to their skill set, or newcomers eager to contribute to the sport’s growth in Belize.
