By Zoila Palma: The Belize Tax Service is offering weekend tax filing assistance to help employees submit their Income Tax Returns ahead of the March 31, 2026 deadline.
Tax officers will be available to assist taxpayers on March 14, 21, and 28 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Belize Tax Service offices across the country.
Officials say the initiative is aimed at making it easier for individuals who may be unable to visit offices during the regular workweek to receive support in completing their filings and meeting their tax obligations on time.
Taxpayers seeking assistance are encouraged to bring their TD4 forms, Social Security card, bank account number, and any other supporting documents that may be required.
The Belize Tax Service is urging the public to take advantage of the weekend service to avoid the last-minute rush.
