During the Local Leaders Awards Reception 2025, Belize City was officially recognized as a finalist for the eMobility Pilot Project under the Clean, Reliable Transportation category.
“Though we didn’t take home the award, being recognized on the global stage demonstrates that our small country is making big strides in sustainable urban mobility and climate action,” the Belize City Council noted.
Mayor Bernard Wagner continues to proudly represent Belize City among world leaders dedicated to building greener, more resilient cities.
“Congratulations to all the winners, we remain inspired and motivated to keep driving progress toward a cleaner, more sustainable future,” the council added.
