By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The Belize Premier Basketball League (BPBL) wraps up its weekend action with a bottom-tier battle between the Punta Gorda Panthers (2–7) and the Belmopan Capital City Kings (2–6) on Saturday, July 19 at 8:00 pm at the Punta Gorda Sporting Auditorium in Punta Gorda.
Both teams are desperate to reverse their fortunes. The Panthers have dropped six straight but remain unbeaten at home (2–1), while the Kings are winless on the road (0–4) and coming off a loss. With nearly identical point differentials, this matchup could go either way and may serve as a turning point for whichever squad finds rhythm first.
