By Zoila Palma: On June 6, 2026, 15 NCOs (Sergeants and Corporals) attended a workshop which focused on Professional Public Interaction and Complaint Handling at CET.
The session was led by Heather Jones, trainer and customer service specialist, who shared valuable insights on how officers can better serve the community.
The discussions centered on the fundamental of public service including first impression, communication, de-escalation among others.
Officers who participated highlighted how these daily habits come together to achieve one main goal which is to build trust with the public.
Also, in attendance were OC San Ignacio Police Formation, Supt Cesar Franco and Deputy Admin Sophy McDougal.
