ITB Berlin celebrated the 60th anniversary of the world’s leading travel trade show, held from March 3 to 5, 2026.
ITB Berlin provided Belize with the chance to connect with European tour operators, travel advisors, travel writers, and other media in Berlin, Germany.
The 2026 edition of the B2B event emphasized the theme “Leading Tourism into Balance,” focusing on industry resilience against global challenges, the role of artificial intelligence, and the importance of sustainable growth.
The Belize Tourism Board (BTB) and Darah Travel participated in the Central American delegation, with support from @cata_centroamerica.
ITB Berlin has been the leading platform for the global travel and tourism industry.
Under the motto “Discover the stories behind 60 years of legacy” ITB Berlin 2026 once again expects exhibitors and trade visitors from all over the world to a very special edition this year.
While in Berlin, Belize also co-sponsored a networking evening hosted by the Travel Foundation, in partnership with UN Tourism and Travalyst.
This event provided an opportunity to highlight Belize’s commitment to responsible tourism while connecting with a select group of senior tourism professionals dedicated to turning regional ambitions into tangible action.
