By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: Today, the Belize National Fire Service congratulated exemplary firefighter Ron Riverol on his outstanding performance and accomplishments while studying abroad.
Riverol left Belize in 2023 to represent the Belize National Fire Service in the study of Paramedicine.
Since then he has seen thousands of hours in didactic material & practical internship.
Riverol has been a pioneer in the EMS program and he has graduated from paramedic school and has been nationally certified to practice as a Paramedic.
“He now becomes the FIRST PARAMEDIC in the history of the Belize National Fire Service. His immense knowledge definitely remains an asset to us and will play an important role upon his return in fortifying our capabilities and serve as a guide in moving forward and addressing concerns pertaining to EMS in our department. Congratulations ROB! You have represented us well,” the Belize National Fire Service expressed.
