Belize Men’s National Team begin camp ahead of CONCACAF Friendly Series

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The Football Federation of Belize (FFB) has called the Belize National Men’s Team (BMNT) to camp as preparations begin for the 2025/2026 CONCACAF Friendly Series. The squad will report on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, kicking off a month-long training calendar that includes sessions on October 8–9, October 27–29, and November 3–5 and 10–12.

The Friendly Series, designed for national teams that did not advance to the third round of the 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers, will see Belize compete in Group B alongside St. Kitts & Nevis, Dominica, Sint Maarten, and Saint Martin. Each team will play two matches in the November 2025 and March 2026 FIFA windows.

Belize’s November fixtures will be held in Basseterre, St. Kitts & Nevis. The BMNT face Saint Martin on November 15, followed by a clash with hosts St. Kitts & Nevis on November 18.

To sharpen their form ahead of the Friendly Series, Belize will play an international friendly against Venezuela on October 14 at Seat Geek Stadium in Chicago, Illinois. Kickoff is set for 7:00 p.m. local time.

Technical Staff
The team’s preparations are led by Technical Director Philip Marin, supported by Performance Coach Joaquin Lobon, Assistant Coaches Norman Koko and Dale Pelayo Sr., Goalkeeper Coach Shane Orio, and Fitness Coach Dennis Serano. The support team includes Equipment Manager Peter Jones, Physical Therapist Thomas Rivars, Team Doctor Carlos Crespo, and Chaperone Tyrone Young.

The 30-man roster features a blend of domestic and international-based talent:
Goalkeepers: Woodrow West, Charles Tillett, Carlos Palacios
Defenders: Nahjib Guerra, Alence Ayala, Eugene Martinez, Freybin Pagoada, Jordan Casanova, Calvin Reid, Enfield Nunez, Deshawon Nembhard, Jamal Brooks, Marlon Meza Jr.
Midfielders: Jordy Polanco, Darrel Myvett, Nahim Wilson, Rene Leslie, Warren Moss, Andir Chi, Marlon Meza Jr.
Forwards: Krisean Lopez, Desmond Wade, Keydenshaay Bowen, Latrell Middleton, Jaheim Mena, Daijon Daniels, Horace Avila, Carlos Bernardez, Jaden Dubon, Angelo Cappello, Donovan Quintanilla

The squad includes players from Verdes FC, Port Layola FC, Belmopan FC, Progresso FC, Wagiya FC, Napoles FC, and international clubs in the USA, Jamaica, Honduras, and England.

With a mix of seasoned veterans and emerging talent, the Belize Men’s National Team look to build momentum and competitive readiness toward future international campaigns.
