By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Six Belizean cyclists, who comprise the Belize Men’s National Cycling Team, are in Georgetown, Guyana, to compete in the Elite Caribbean Championships this week.
The Cycling Federation of Belize (CFB) announced the team last Friday, stating that the upcoming Elite Caribbean Cycling Road Championships will be held in Georgetown on November 2-3, 2024.
Team Belize consists of Cory Williams, Giovanni Lovell, Justin Williams, Jyven Gonzalez, Leon Leslie, and Derrick Chavarria.
The two Williams and Lovell will compete in the Elite category, while Gonzalez, Leslie, and Chavarria will compete in the Under 23 category.
