By Zoila Palma: On November 27, 2025, the Belize Marketing & Development Corporation (BMDC) hosted students and teachers from Forest Home Methodist School and Julian Cho Technical High School at our Big Falls Rice facility in Big Falls Village, Toledo District.
During the visit, the students were given an informative tour of the rice mill.
The BMDC team explained each stage of the production process, from paddy rice to the quality Big Falls Rice enjoyed across Belize.
The students gained first-hand insight into the importance of local agriculture and food production in our nation’s development.
“We extend our appreciation to both institutions for choosing BMDC as part of their educational experience. We remain committed to supporting learning, agriculture, and community growth,” BMDC said.
