By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The Belize Livestock Producers Association (BLPA) has announced a job vacancy for the position of Project Coordinator to work at its headquarters in Belmopan. This role is crucial for the effective planning and implementation of various agricultural projects. The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and possess strong leadership and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Planning and Implementation: Oversee the execution of agricultural projects.
• Monitoring and Evaluation: Ensure projects meet their goals and objectives.
• Team Coordination: Lead and manage project teams.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with various stakeholders.
• Training and Capacity Building: Enhance the skills of team members.
• Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate project records.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Environmental Science, Project Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in project coordination, preferably in agriculture or environmental projects.
• Proficiency in English; Spanish is a plus.
• Familiarity with the Voisin methodology and silvopastoral systems is advantageous.
